Think Juicy with a Mind-Map

Blow away dry, uninspired thinking:  break out your colored markers and go for a mind-map.

Mind-mapping is basically a non-linear brain dump.  Start by writing your issue or problem in the middle of a large blank piece of paper.  Then free associate, writing your subsequent thoughts on branches off of this central issue.  As you go, branches lead to branches and so forth.  Off load the nagging extras in your mind too.  If you are thinking you have to pick up the dry cleaning, just park it in the corner of your page.  Freeing your mind from these distractions allows other thoughts to flow.

Unleash even more creativity by using different colors on your mind-map and drawing symbols or other representative doodles.  Mind-mapping purists feel images, colors and organic shapes are essential to freeing your genius.

Hear more about the technique from the inventor of mind-mapping, Tony Buzan.  His video shows all the details:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MlabrWv25qQ

People who get hooked on mind-mapping find it becomes a critical part of their daily planning and problem solving.  May you enjoy some juicy thinking!
