Great news from the Dream Foundation: contributions came through for Jeri and her 6 children and they have been sent on a trip to Disney World – thus fulfilling Jeri’s wish to make lasting memories for her family.

A huge thanks to the many contributors in the THRIVE against the grain community who helped make this dream come true. Combined contributions yielded 350,000 airline miles enabling the family of 7 to fly from Maryland to Florida, and enough cash to cover lodging, park tickets, meals, spending money and special gifts (like Mickey Mouse ears upon arrival.)

Also, I hear that a church gathered gift cards and school supplies to be sent to the family after they return home from their vacation – a beautiful extra surprise.

It’s so heartening to see such generosity despite the contraction in our economy. Even with doom and gloom reports that can make even the most optimistic among us feel a chill of scarcity and fear, so many lovely people opened their hearts with abundance to support Jeri’s final dream.

Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. You make my dream come true by supporting this cause! I cannot express the fullness of my gratitude but I can tell you that I cried when Jackie at the Dream Foundation gave me the news, and I am getting teary again sharing it with you.
